It is not necessary to install any additional software on your server in order to use Remote Care. Thanks to GSM technology, your system communicates with Imagetec via a direct and secure mobile channel without intervention in your corporate network. The transmission of service-related data via GSM is a unique feature that is especially of interest to customers with increased security requirements: When connected to the GSM network, it is not necessary to install any additional software on your server – your alerts will be transmitted to to us without intervention in your corporate network.

  • Lower maintenance and repair costs: Evaluation of automatic status messages or information about current system running times permits active service support. In other words, parts can be replaced or repaired before technical difficulties occur.
  • Shorter downtimes: If technical difficulties should occur in your system despite Remote Care, we will be notified without delay and can quickly remedy the problem on-line or on-site at your premises.
  • Prompt delivery of toner: Your toner requirements are recognised early on, and toner will be delivered before an order has been placed. In other words, stored supplies of consumables can be kept to a minimum.
  • Less administrative effort: Counter readings are recorded automatically and invoiced accurately each month. This means that it is no longer necessary to record the counter readings manually or forward the counter-reading cards to the service provider.
